Florida Seal of Fine Arts

A prestigious state-level honor awarded to high-achieving music and arts students

The Florida Seal of Fine Arts provides recognition of the importance and rigor of quality arts education by creating a graduation seal for high-achieving music students. It is awarded to high school students who earn a standard high school diploma, complete three year-long courses or complete three sequential course credits with a grade of "A" or higher, and meet at least two other specified criteria.  It is represented by a physical insignia affixed to the student's diploma and is noted directly on their official transcript.

It was developed through years of effort by the FMEA Advocacy Committee in partnership with FSMA, FAEA, and CFAE, passed by the legislature unanimously, and signed into law by the Governor in April of 2024.

AICE Courses
