The Florida Music Education Association and it's component and affiliate organizations strive to provide the most relevant experiences and up-to-date programs for music teachers to accomplish their career goals.
Music teacher Professional Development (PD), more recently referred to as Professional Learning (PL), is essential to adapt teaching strategies to modern student needs, update technological and musical skills, and combat educator isolation. It directly translates to higher student engagement, stronger school music programs, and career longevity. As music educators, progressing on our own musical and pedagogical journey is vitally important as we shape the next generation of musicians, creative thinkers, and supporters of the arts.
