K-12 Students
The Tri-M Music Honor Society is a national honor society for student musicians in grades 6 through 12. It offers students the chance to perform, develop leadership skills, and serve their community. Talk to your school’s chapter liaison about membership requirements, or visit musichonors.com.

College Students
The FMEA Collegiate membership is for college students preparing to become music educators and includes a NAfME Collegiate membership.

The FMEA Retired Membership is a discounted membership for those who have retired from the teaching, supervision, or administration of music in K-12 schools or higher education. It is a great way to continue supporting and advocating for music education and stay informed about the profession. They receive all the benefits of Active Members and receive a discount for Conference Registration.

Associate - Individual
For individuals who do not currently teach in a K-12 school or higher education, but want to support music education. This is common among private teachers, professional musicians, or anyone else who would like to attend our conference or stay informed about advocacy and music education topics.

Associate - Organization
For organizations such as booster groups or community music groups. For advertising and exhibitor opportunities, see our Corporate and Academic Partner memberships instead.

Associate memberships do not include an NAfME membership, and members are not eligible to join component or council organizations or participate in All-State Auditions.

The Corporate and Academic Partner membership offers music companies, organizations, colleges, universities, and military music programs recognition and benefits to help increase their visibility among Florida's music teachers. They receive discounts on advertising and conference exhibits, and access to exclusive sponsorship opportunities.
