The Florida Contemporary Music & Media Association (FCMMA) is an FMEA Council Affiliate dedicated to supporting music educators who teach contemporary music and media arts in Florida's schools. FCMMA serves educators working in Digital Music Production, Modern Band, Popular Music Ensembles, Songwriting, Audio Recording, Music Technology, AI Music Composition, and other emerging areas of contemporary music education.

As music classrooms continue to evolve, FCMMA provides professional learning, collaboration, and advocacy for educators seeking innovative ways to engage students through today's musical styles, technologies, and creative practices. Members gain access to a statewide network of colleagues who share ideas, resources, and best practices for building and sustaining contemporary music programs.

Through conference sessions, workshops, networking opportunities, and educational resources, FCMMA empowers teachers to foster creativity, collaboration, and real-world musical skills while preparing students for a wide range of musical and media careers.

Whether you're launching a new modern band program, expanding digital music production opportunities, or incorporating popular music into your curriculum, FCMMA is your professional home within FMEA for contemporary music and media education.
