The FMEA Multicultural Network presents the 6th Annual Summer Music Education Workshop

Thursday, June 13, 2019
9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Ocoee High School
1925 Ocoee Crown Point Pkwy
Ocoee, FL 34761

This one day professional development workshop, co-sponsored by the Hapco Music Foundation, is set up to offer information, insight and inspiration to music educators as you enter the summer planning months. Although getting your rest and quality family and friend time is top priority during the summer, it is never too early to plan for the upcoming year. This year we focus on the question, "what was good this year and how can I make it better?" Our goal is for teachers to analyze what you are doing in your program and what steps need to be taken to take your program (and you) to the next level. Regardless of how long or short we have been teaching, there is always room to grow and learn new strategies and best practices for enhancing the music education experience for ALL Florida students.

The workshop will take place on Thursday June 13th at Ocoee High School in Ocoee (Orange County) from 9:30 am – 4 pm. The address to Ocoee High School is 1925 Ocoee Crown Point Pkwy. Ocoee, Fl. 34761

The workshop will begin in the band room with registration from 9:00 - 9:30 AM. This will be followed by several sessions for all music educators and will conclude at 4 PM. Our Session presenters include: Debbie Fahmie, Andrea Green, Arnekua Jackson, Justin Daniels, Jeremy George, Bernie Hendricks and more. A great BBQ lunch is included, so come out and join us.
